I will be doing a small fashion show with Look again and this is the finale dress I made for the event - you really have to see it in person to see how rich the textures are :) Tentatively set for October 18th at 2:00 PM SL time LM to come. Fashion Show & Lalique Designs

I have always been a huge fan of Lalique and his jewelry designs and his art nouveau style. Working with one of his designs I have created the Lalique Dragonfly dress especially for the fashion show we will be holding tentatively on October 18th. Fashion Show Highlights

The show was a great success and we filled the sim! All the models were great and everyone was thrilled. In the last 2 days we raised over 29,000L for BAA and as I send the money to them know they are very thankful and happy with the results. I will continue to donate and BAA will remain on my sim so be on the lookout for more dresses in the BAA house :) Hope everyone like the Hollywood dress I decided to send out to everyone now that we have 800 subscribers! Yay! Hugs and I am tired!

Hollywood

This is a dress I am calling Hollywood in honor of the fashion show today and because it is such an elegant classy texture and design - the shine is brillant. Visitors at the show will be receiving the dress and jewelry at the show today as a gift - otherwise it is on sale at the store :)

BENEFIT CONCERT & FASHION SHOW

MUSIC AND FASHION TAKE CENTER STAGE TO BENEFIT VETERANS

It’s part of a Second Life double header as musician Ridha Cooljoke performs Sunday July 27th and a Hollywood Fashion Show takes the runway the following day at 2:00pm PST to raise funds for “Bugles Across America.” “Bugles Across America” is a group of volunteers committed to have a live bugler play taps at every veteran’s funeral in the United States.

“My daughter is a member of this organization and I am the daughter of a veteran, so I feel very honored to be part of this worthwhile cause,” stated Lemania Indigo. Ridha Cooljoke will take the stage at the Celebration Hall Sunday and all donations will be contributed to the cause. The sale of 10 of the dresses featured in the fashion show will give 50% of the profits to the cause and the sale of one limited edition dress will give 100%. Look Elite Models will be featured at the fashion show and all shoes for this event have been supplied by Melanie Zhao.

Born in Tunisa, now living in Milano, Ridha began performing at a very young age playing and singing international tunes including swing, jazz, evergreen, 60's, 70's, 80's and World music. He just finished singing at Christopher Coppola’s PAHfest MOTOWN 08, a concert that was not only seen in Second Life but was featured on Internet2 and on the campus of Madonna University. Lemania Indigo is an artist in her first life and has turned her creativity to designing virtual clothing for the residents in Second Life. UNRELEASED - Merle Oberon Exotica

Merle Oberon (1911–1979) was born Estelle Merle O'Brien Thompson in Bombay (now Mumbai), India. In 1932 she signed a five-year contract with Alexander Korda's company London Films, and made her breakthrough one year later in the role of Anne Boleyn in The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933). During the 1930s she appeared in The Private Life of Don Juan (1934), The Scarlet Pimpernel (1935), These Three (1936), and the unreleased film I, Claudius (1937). Her American film debut was in Folies Bergère de Paris in 1935. That same year she was nominated by the Academy for her performance in The Dark Angel. Oberon's greatest screen success came four years later, when she starred as Cathy in Wuthering Heights (1939).

UNRELEASED - Clara Bow - The Flapper

I will have several dresses that I will be doing especially for the fashion show on the 28th that I will only release at that time. This is one of those dresses. It is called Clara Bow - The Flapper. The texture is an original 1920's hat from the period and it has 2 flexi skirts with beads. The neckpiece is also included. I am enclosing with the dresses pictures of the actresses too. This is a unique one with a new type of skirt I have never done before! Remember that 1/2 of the proceeds from ALL these dresses go to benefit charity :) The shoes - Zhao Bella Gold Teal Sequins are perfect!

July 27th & July 28th Music Gives For Music Benefits

On July 27th here at my main location we will be giving a benefit concert for Bugles Across America - Music Gives for Music. All proceeds and donations will benefit the Bugles Across America organization enabling them to provide live buglers at the funerals of veterans for those that request it. Singing and playing for us with his usual style and joy will be Ridha Cooljoke. More about this all later! On the 28th at 2 PM SL time I will be having a fashion show in conjunction with Look Elite and also Melanie Zhao will be providing the shoes. 1/2 of the proceeds from this show will go to BAA and there will be one final dress - 100% of the proceeds of this dress will go to BAA. Many of these dresses will be new designs and the theme of course is Hollywood! I will be sending invites and more information soon! Hugs!
