Charleston Flapper - GROUP GIFT 7/21/08

Here is this weeks group gift and it goes along with the theme of Hollywood - the Charleston Flapper. The texture is from another 1920's flapper dress and it reminded me of the movie Our Dancing Daughters with Joan Crawford and Anita Page - I am lucky enough to have one of my own original pastels signed by Ms. Page before she died. They always seemed they wore pink and this is my interpretation of those dresses. Enjoy!

Joan Crawford - Mommie Dearest

Waiting for you just in time for Mother's Day is my new dress "The Joan Crawford Mommie Dearest." We all know the story but Joan Crawford was a great actress and had a long-running career beginning in silent movies. She also was a great dancer. This dress is red satin and the era would be about the late 40's early 50's. It includes the poster, skirt, flexi skirt, glitch pants and bodice for several different looks. Happy Mother's Day and enjoy it Mommie Dearest!
