This is based on a remarkable dress I found that was covered in rhinestones and sequins and is an original 1920's dress! This one is not as heavy as the original I am sure but just as lovely in gold and black! A can't miss for dancing and more!

Golden Spider Webs & Josephine
Today I was inspired by who knows what :) I went a little crazy and created an outfit for Josephine Baker and of course called it "The Josephine Baker". She was definitely a well-known personality of the 20's and mostly for her scantily clad shows. This outfit is masks and feathers and most parts are safely covered. It is a lot of fun as you can see.
The next outfit as usual started out completely different but it is a lovely gold and black design that reminds me of a spider web so it is called "The Golden Spider Web." It can be worn is many different ways from casual to night time dancing.

The New Zeigfeld Follies Collection - A Rose Is A Rose
One of my favorite inspirations is the costumes from the Zeigfeld Follies which were quite popular from the late 1800's to the early 1930's. A lot of actresses began with the follies. This dress is all roses and comes with a red velvet swing that you can swing and dance in at the same time. There is a story of the death of Stanford White, an architect in the 1910's and his involvement with a Floradora Girl. It was said he kept a red velvet swing in his apartment and like to watch his "girlfriends" swing on the swing. He was murdered by a jealous lover. Anyway, this dress is a first in my Zeigfeld Collection which will represent unique and original clothes that will be fun to wear!

Don't Let's Ask For The Moon - We Have The Stars
The title is from one of my favorite Bette Davis movies, "Now Voyager." They never got married in the movie but tonight I was working on this dress and this line kept passing through my mind. This is a wedding dress or even a party dress called "The Moon & The Stars." It is silvery, smokey gray and white with a a full headdress and a silver moon cap. The material was hand-done and detailed. It includes a skirt, a flexi skirt, pants, a shirt and of course, the lovely headdress. What person would not feel beautiful in this dress and surely the love of her life would want to give her... "The Moon & The Stars."

Watercolor Party
I am truely in love with this dress. It is such a joyful dress and the colors run togther like watercolor on silk and that is why I call it the "Watercolor Party Dress." It looks like the paint decided to have a party. It comes with the pants, bodice, long skirt and flexi all best worn together. And when you dance no one can take their eyes off the colors! You can find it at my stores: Lemania's
