June 3rd Weekly Group Gift

This is awesome and I love it and inspiration hit me based on the title of a book, "Goodnight Moon." As I was working on it the flapper look with black/silver sequins, silver moon and flowy scarfs the name stuck in my head. I love this dress and I hope you do too!

Names Are Hard

Finding a name for this one was hard. I don't know why but it was. It has 2 different skirt options and pants and a belt and it is taken from a 1950's beaded bolero and oh yeah... it has 2 poofey skirts! So I called it "Poofey Beads" so it is :) It is lovely and to me the skirts look like black fur. It is classy and fun at the same time - uh huh? Yep :)

Maribou Feathers & Sequins

Here it is and it is so much fun! Maribou feather skirts (2 to be exact) and several looks in aqua sequins. This is a texture that came from a dress from the 1920's again and it is amazingly sparkly! Party dress and glamour what more can you ask for?

OOOOOO Feathers & Sequins!! O_O

It's late but I so loved the way this dress turned out that I wanted to give you a sneak peek - it is totally unexpected and fun! See you tomorrow with the finished product :)

Oscar De La Renta & Beaded Butterflies

Yes this is an Oscar De La Renta inspired dress and it comes from his design and to me it was very art deco 1920's so I added a frou frou skirt in flexi black, a black velvet skirt with matching beaded top and cut outs and also pants that can be long or short. This is a fantasy outfit and yet classic and eye-catching. Be a social butterfly in my "Beaded Butterfly Art Deco."

Famous Parisian HOUSE of LESAGE Heavily Beaded Bodice

There are some fashions that stand the test of time and I for one like that. Even in Second Life I need to know that a dress is a classic. This is one of those dresses. It's called "Aqua Beaded Chiffon 1968." Yes, it's based on a dress by the Famous Parisian HOUSE of LESAGE who if you are a fashion aficionado was associated with the Famous House of Worth. Classics do stand the test of time and this lovely beaded bodice and flowing chiffon skirt is just lovely.
