As you know by now Lemania has a new shop at CODA, Events Showcase and Shops sim. One great event has been held last week to benefit American Cancer Society and of course Lemania has participated and sposored the event:))

It's My Turn

In the past two weeks my name has been attacked, my designs have been attacked, my method of marketing, my hunts, my intentions -- I wake up once again after thinking it was all over to another verbal attack. I was leaving the matter alone, letting it die a natural death but Emerald Wynn and her readers cannot leave it alone. As if using my name brings her more attention, well obviously she can't quit using it.

Today I wake to find that she has posted a notecard from Lestat Reuven who happens to work with me. This notecard was sent over a week ago and yet, in order to dredge up more attention she posts it today.

This is a public statement about the whole Prozac issue and once said, I will say no more. It is one thing to disagree with something someone says or does - I have never had a problem with her disagreement. Emerald has always been allowed to disagree and not like a name or word or action or even something I have created. It's an opinion - so what. I responded in a fashion that was both professional and apologetic as I was trying to see her side of the matter. And yet...the response continued and my name was on the blog day after day after day...

I was overwhelmed by her use of my name in her blog and today I needed to share with you MY thoughts and never speak of it again. Depression is a cruel and very personal master - and I am thankful that I can cope with my own in a way that makes me laugh. I have also had dozens of responses from others who feel the same. Unfortunately, we all do not deal with things in the same way. As I stated in my response to her it was never to make light of depression but she chose to continue tirelessly on a tirade. Even shopping at stores who were named after drugs - I would say that is a hypocritical attitude.

People respond to her rantings with - I will never shop there, I never liked her clothes anyway, blah blah blah. THAT IS YOUR CHOICE - I don't think I have ever twisted anyone's arm to shop. But above and beyond that - I am asking Emerald to quit feeding her habit but using my name over again. The Prozac Hunt has been active for over a week and a half and yet she still rambles on and on about it. Enough.

I treat every customer with respect and will continue to do so. Life goes on in the sims and yes, the hunts go on, the sales go on, the events go on and chats with the group continue. I am lucky to have a huge group of people here in SL that feel like we are part of a family. No more is EVER going to be said again on this blog about Emerald Wynn or any further comments she makes.
