One of my favorite inspirations is the costumes from the Zeigfeld Follies which were quite popular from the late 1800's to the early 1930's. A lot of actresses began with the follies. This dress is all roses and comes with a red velvet swing that you can swing and dance in at the same time. There is a story of the death of Stanford White, an architect in the 1910's and his involvement with a Floradora Girl. It was said he kept a red velvet swing in his apartment and like to watch his "girlfriends" swing on the swing. He was murdered by a jealous lover. Anyway, this dress is a first in my Zeigfeld Collection which will represent unique and original clothes that will be fun to wear!
